Hello! My name is Alexandra Stewart and I am a Manual Osteopath Practitioner (DOMP), I am so excited to be joining the Shelburne Family Chiropractic family!

I am originally from Beeton but I am currently living in Mulmur.

Prior to studying at the National Academy of Osteopathy and finding my love for the profession, I studied Physical and Health Education at Nipissing University. I loved being able to be active throughout this program and it was here where I found a real interest in how the body moves and works.

I then went on to Georgian College to study to become a Physiotherapist Assistant/Occupational Therapist assistant. I found my passion for Manual Osteopathy when working at a multidisciplinary clinic and wanting to help people get back to living their daily lives.

I am interested in treating musculoskeletal/joint issues, overuse injuries, postural issues, headaches, and more. Along with hands on treatment, I incorporate home exercises for patients to aid in their progress from home and prevent further injury. When I am not treating at the clinic, you can find me spending the weekends during the summer on the water, hiking and taking my dog for long walks. I look forward to meeting everyone and please reach out if you think Manual Osteopathy may be for you!
